Netflix India debuted two Original series this month that couldn’t be more different: a Telugu comedy about a reluctant sex ed teacher and a Hindi romantic drama set in a honeymoon hotspot.
On top of that, the Original reality competition series Lock Upp cranked up the tension inside its makeshift prison, and Sunny Deol starred in his first Original movie: the courtroom drama Ikka.

Daadi Ki Shaadi (2026)

Thinking Vimla is the one getting married, her kids and grandkids show up at her door to talk her out of it. Happy to have company for a change, Vimla is in no rush to set the record straight. Sing Geetham (2026)

A greedy man named Pratap returns to his family’s village to claim his share of a local gold mine, encouraging the other shareholders to expand the mining operations. They cut down an ancient tree to do so, triggering a curse by the village’s guardian deity. As punishment for the villagers’ failure to speak up on the tree’s behalf, the curse strips them of their speech, forcing the villagers to communicate only through song. After the film’s release, director Buchi Babu Sana had to publicly apologize for scenes that audiences felt objectified Kapoor. Pati Patni Aur Woh Do (2026)

His wife snoops into a local scandal involving a Hindu politician’s son dating a Muslim woman, only for Praja to realize that he knows the woman. His attempt to clean up the mess his wife made by snooping makes things worse for everyone — especially Praja. The couple’s marriage hits a rough patch when they disagree about parenting their daughter, who is not only failing her classes at school, but also uninterested in wrestling! When an accident robs Santosh of his memory just before their wedding, it threatens to put their romance on hold permanently.
