Welcome to another preview of what’s set to arrive on Netflix throughout the last full week of January 2024. Below, we’ll preview everything new coming up on Netflix over the next seven days, which includes Sofia Vergara’s new limited series, a highly anticipated new Korean action movie, and an overlooked Vince Vaughn movie.
On the removal front this week, the A24 movie The Killing of a Sacred Deer gets removed midway through the week. We’d also recommend checking out the interactive special for Puss in Boots, which is being pulled over the weekend.

Griselda (Limited Series)
Coming to Netflix: Thursday
Walking in the footsteps laid down by Narcos and Narcos: Mexico, Griselda seeks to return the story of Griselda Blanco, a notorious drug dealer who left a trail of bodies during her reign. Some of the team behind Narcos are behind this new series, too.
Starring Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), the six-part series is one of the first major limited series releases of 2024.
Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017)
Coming to Netflix: Friday
This movie from RLJE Films was first scheduled to hit Netflix last week but has been seemingly delayed until this week (hopefully, it doesn’t get delayed again!).
Starring Vince Vaughn, the movie comes from writer/director S. Craig Zahler and is about a former boxer finding himself at the mercy of his enemies as they force him to instigate violent acts that turn the prison he resides in into a battleground.
Badland Hunters (2024)
Coming to Netflix: Friday
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, this new Korean action-thriller is about a tough huntsman who is taking matters into his own hands when a teenager he’s close to is abducted by a mad doctor who conducts experiments on humans.
If you need even more of Ma Dong-Seok and Don Lee this week, you’ll be able to find Train to Busan on the service beginning Tuesday.
