Just like that, we’re into the second full week of September, and it’s going to be a busy one for Netflix, bookended by a huge live fight on Saturday night between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford. Here’s your preview of what’s coming up over the next seven days and what we’re looking forward to.

What to Watch on Netflix This Week
aka Charlie Sheen (2025)
Coming to Netflix: Wednesday
Alongside his new memoir (releasing the day before this docu-series), Charlie Sheen will be seen like never before in the 2-part documentary series looking back at his long life and career, experiencing the many ups and the significant and very public downs. Andrew Renzi is spearheading the doc, having previously worked with Netflix on Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?.
It features the involvement of many of his old co-stars, friends, and family, along with plenty of surprises, including his actual dealer. Denise Richards, Heidi Fleiss, Jon Cryer, Sean Penn, Ramon Estevez, Brooke Mueller, and Chris Tucker are among the faces you’ll see.
The Wrong Paris (2025)
Coming to Netflix: Friday
In what will be Netflix’s 14th romantic comedy movie released in 2025 (and we’re not counting Fixed in that number like Wikipedia does!), we will see the return of Miranda Cosgrove, who previously appeared in Mother of the Bride just last year.
Starring alongside Pierson Fodé, this entry has her character believe she’s joining a new reality TV dating show in the city of Love in the heart of Europe, after all, she got told she’s heading to Paris… Where she’s actually heading, however, is the heart of the state of Texas. She quickly tries to plot an escape back home, but the aspiring artist quickly falls head over heels with a cowboy bachelor. Our review will drop on Friday.
Wolf King (Season 2)
Coming to Netflix: Thursday
One of the underrated gems of 2025 so far has been Wolf King, the UK-produced animated series bringing to life the fantasy world of Curtis Jobling. Just months after the first season debuted, the second and final season will land later this week.
The synopsis for the second batch of episodes reads, “As he fights for his throne and faces enemies from all sides, Drew learns the heavy burden of being king — and the daunting task of choosing a queen.”
As we covered in our review, the series has some superb animation, fantastic world-building, and plenty of solid voice performances. While it’s a tragedy, this show is coming to an end and not coming back for more; we’re hoping the second season brings things to a satisfying close.
