We’re now into the last few months of 2025! Welcome back (again) to your bumper guide to all the new movies and series scheduled to arrive on Netflix throughout the remainder of the year. It’s headlined by mammoth returning series like Stranger Things, Emily in Paris, and Nobody Wants This season 2, and movie highlights like Jay Kelly, Frankenstein, and Knives Out 3.
Any titles listed with “wt” are working and subject to change. We’ll exclude games from this list as we track those separately here. This will be the last update for this 2025 as we’re now shifting our focus to 2026 and covering the remaining listings through our monthly roundups.
Note: Once slates for each month have been announced, we will discontinue release dates for previous months. Titles are subject to change, and some of the undated titles may be pushed into 2026.
What’s Coming to Netflix in October 2025
- Love is Blind (Season 9) – October 1st – A new season of the hit dating-reality series.
- Dudes (Season 1) – October 2nd – German comedy serving as a spin-off to the Spanish Alpha Males series.
- Old Dog, New Tricks (Season 1) – October 3rd – Spanish comedy series about a cash-strapped vet taking a job at a fancy pet store, a steep departure from his prior role in a rural farm.

- Steve – October 3rd – Cillian Murphy plays a high school teacher in this drama that serves as a reimagining of the novel Shy.
- Monster: The Ed Gein Story – October 3rd – The third season of the Ryan Murphy/Ian Brennan serial killer drama with Charlie Hunnam leading the cast.
- The New Force – October 3rd – Swedish period drama series tracking Sweden’s first-ever female police officers graduating.
- Genie, Make a Wish (Season 1) – October 3rd – Romantic comedy about a genie who awakens after a thousand years.
- Dr. Seuss’s Horton! – October 6th – Animated series from Dustin Ferrer, Becky Friedman, and Brown Bag Films.
- The Resurrected (Season 1) – October 9th – Chinese-language drama starring Shu Qi and Sinje Lee.

- Boots (Season 1) – October 9th – formerly known as The Corps – is a series created by Andy Parker, based on the true story of Greg Cope White, a young man who joins the military.
- Nouvelle Vague – October 10th – Biopic from Richard Linklater following the production of Jean-Luc Godard’s “Breathless”. Starring Guillaume Marbeck, Zoey Deutch, and Aubry Dullin.
- Swim to Me – October 10th – Dominga Sotomayor is behind this new feature drama based on the novel by Alia Trabucco about a young girl who develops a dangerous bond with her careworker.
- The Woman in Cabin 10 – October 10th – Kiera Knightley appears in this adaptation of the crime mystery novel.
- Splinter Cell: Deathwatch – October 14th – Adaptation of the video game featuring the legendary spy agent, Sam Fisher.
- Thomas & Friends: Sodor Sings Together – October 16th – Animated kids special.
- The Diplomat (Season 3) – October 16th – Next season of the Keri Russell political drama series.
- Good News – October 17th – Byun Sung-hyun is directing this new action thriller set in the 1970s from South Korea.
- She Walks in Darkness – October 17th – Spanish thriller from director Agustín Díaz Yanes. Action thriller inspired by the most significant undercover operation against ETA, a mission that became a turning point in Spain’s fight against terrorism.
- The Perfect Neighbor – October 17th – Documentary acquired from Sundance about a minor Florida neighborhood dispute that escalated into deadly violence.

- The Twits – October 17th – Animated feature film by director Phil Johnston based on the tale of Roald Dahl.
- The Monster of Florence (Limited Series) – October 22nd – Italian crime drama series following the case of Il Mostro di Firenze, Italy’s first ever serial killer.
- Turn of the Tide (Season 2) – October 17th – Portuguese teen-drama series.
- Nobody Wants This (Season 2) – October 23rd – Return of the comedy starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell.
- A House of Dynamite (2025) – October 24th – An all-star cast comes together for Kathryn Bigelow’s action thriller about an unidentified missile that is launched at the US, and key players need to react fast.
- Physical: Asia (Season 1) – October 28th – A new spin-off of the reality competition show.
- Ballad of a Small Player – October 29th – Lord Doyle (Colin Farrell) is laying low in Macau – spending his days and nights on the casino floors, drinking heavily and gambling what little money he has left. Struggling to keep up with his fast-rising debts, he is offered a lifeline by the mysterious Dao Ming (Fala Chen), a casino employee with secrets of her own.
- Selling Sunset (Season 9) – October 29th – Latest season of the property reality series.
- Breathless (Season 2) – October 31st – Spanish medical drama series returns!
- The White House Effect – October 31st – A documentary that tells the dramatic origin story of the climate crisis and how a political battle in the George H.W. Bush administration changed the course of history.
What’s Coming to Netflix in November 2025
- Heweliusz – TBD – Polish disaster drama series telling the story of the ferry Jan Heweliusz that sank during a raging storm on January 14, 1993, on the Baltic Sea.
- Dr. Suess’s The Sneetches – November 3rd – Animated special from Dustin Ferrer and Brown Bag Films.
- In Waves and War (2025) – November 3rd – Documentary on three Navy SEALs who leave their tours of duty in terrible pain and find relief with a lifesaving psychedelic therapy.
- Sesame Street (Season 56) – November 3rd – Moving from HBO Max to Netflix, the new format Sesame Street joins Netflix.
- Squid Game: The Challenge (Season 2) – November 4th – 456 new contestants go up against new challenges inspired by the hit Korean series.

- Death by Lightning – November 6th – Betty Gilpin, Matthew Macfadyen, and Nick Offerman star in this historical drama series about the 20th President of the United States.
- The Vince Staples Show (Season 2) – November 6th – The second season of the Netflix comedy.
- Frankenstein – November 7th – Horror fantasy from director Guillermo del Toro based on the beloved novel.
- A Merry Little Ex-Mas – November 12th – Alicia Silverstone and Oliver Hudson headline this holiday rom-com.
- Selling the OC (Season 4) – November 12th – New season of the property reality series.
- Unicorn Academy (Chapter 4) – November 13th – A Christmas special for the kids’ animated series.
- The Beast in Me (Limited Series) – November 13th – Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys star in this thriller from showrunner Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24).

- Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis – November 14th – LIVE boxing match.
- Last Samurai Standing – November 15th – Japanese period drama action title set during the Meiji period.

- Selena y Los Dinos – November 17th – Selena Quintanilla’s journey from performing at local events to becoming the “Queen of Tejano Music” is showcased in this award-winning doc from Isabel Castro.
- Gabby’s Dollhouse (Season 12) – November 17th – New season of the record-breaking DreamWorks preschool series.
- Champagne Problems – November 19th – Romantic comedy about an M&A executive who travels to France to acquire a champagne brand but may just find something else. Starring Minka Kelly and Tom Wozniczka, with Mark Steven Johnson writing and directing.
- A Man on the Inside (Season 2) – November 20th – Ted Danson returns in this comedy mystery sitcom.

- Jurassic World: Chaos Theory (Season 4) – November 20th – Return of the dinosaur animated series from Amblin based on the hit movie franchise.
- Train Dreams – November 21st – Felicity Jones and Joel Edgerton star in this Sundance-acquired period drama movie.
- Jingle Bell Heist – November 26th – Olivia Holt and Connor Swindells headline this new Christmas rom-com about a retailer worker and repairman also doubling as small-time thieves and plotting a big Christmas Eve score.

- Left-Handed Girl – November 28th – Shih-Ching Tsou directs this Oscar-tipped movie about a single mother and her two daughters returning to live in the busy night market of Taipei after living in the countryside for a number of years.

- 10Dance – TBD – Japanese romance.
- Record of Ragnarok – TBD – Anime action series returns.
- CoComelon Lane (Season 6) – December 1st – Preschool animated musical series.
- Troll 2 – December 1st – Sequel to Netflix’s most-watched international film of all time, about a giant Norwegian troll.
- My Secret Santa – December 3rd – Virgin River star Alexandra Breckenridge headlines this new holiday romantic comedy.
- Jay Kelly – December 5th – A heartbreaking comedy from Noah Baumbach starring George Clooney, Adam Sandler, and Laura Dern.
- Owning Manhattan (Season 2) – December 5th – Property reality series selling the best real estate in New York returns.
- Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery – December 12th – The third Knives Out movie, seeing the return of Daniel Craig, along with an assortment of other big stars.
- The Creature Cases (Chapter 6) – December 15th
- Emily in Paris (Season 5) – December 18th – The hit drama comedy series is back in Paris (and Venice!)
- Goodbye June – December 24th – Kate Winslet’s directorial debut, set just before Christmas, is a new family drama. Starring Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, and Timothy Spall.

- Mango – Danish romance drama from director Mehdi Avaz. She’s a hotel manager who can’t switch off. He’s a mango farm owner with a tragic past. As they argue over his land, unexpected feelings start to bloom.
- Sum Wan Gub Someone (wt) – Thai Groundhog Day romance movie.
- Tee Yai Rerk Dao Jone (wt) – Thai action thriller from director Nonzee Nimibutr.
- The Ballad of a Small Player – Edward Berger is directing this new drama starring Colin Farrell and Tilda Swinton.
- The Great Flood – Q4 2025 – Kim Da-mi and Park Hae-soo are starring in this disaster thriller from South Korea.
- The Illusion – Italian period drama movie from director Roberto Andò.
- The Swedish Connection – a WW2 movie from Sweden about a bureaucrat at the Swedish Foreign Ministry. Starring Henrik Dorsin, Sissela Benn, and Jonas Karlsson.
- The New Yorker at 100 – Coming from director Marshall Curry, this documentary looks at the magazine and its inner workings.
- Victoria Beckham – Studio 99 in association with Dorothy St Pictures is working on this new tell-all documentary feature.
- You and I Need to Talk – Italian comedy directed and starring Alessandro Siani.
