Stranger Things fans just got some incredible news courtesy of an early released Tweet from Netflix FR. The iconic on-screen dynamic between Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour is officially returning to our screens. Netflix France just revealed that the duo will reunite to play father and daughter in a brand-new series produced by A24 and by Jack Thorne, creator of the hit drama Adolescence.

What is the plot of the new series?
Written by Emmy-winning powerhouse Jack Thorne, the new series is described as “a pulse-pounding, emotional spy thriller,” and reportedly loosely based on Paul Warner’s debut novel A Spy In the Blood.
Per Netflix, here is the official synopsis for the new show:
“Disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown) — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him to return to a field that has evolved beyond him.”

Who is behind the series?
Leading the charge as creator, writer, and executive producer is Jack Thorne. This straight-to-series order brings Thorne back to Netflix following a monumentally successful run. He previously penned the streamer’s adaptation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, as well as the Emmy- and Golden Globe–winning series Adolescence.
