Netflix has officially dropped the trailer and a massive batch of first-look images for Heartstopper: Forever, the highly anticipated finale film wrapping up the beloved coming-of-age story. If the emotional goodbye wasn’t enough, the trailer features a massive collaboration with pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo.

Olivia Rodrigo Soundtracks the Final Chapter
In the new two-minute glimpse into Nick and Charlie’s final chapter it features the exclusive, first-ever use of “Stupid Song,” a brand-new track from Olivia Rodrigo’s highly anticipated upcoming album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. Rodrigo’s signature emotional pop-punk lyricism perfectly scores the mounting anxieties, doubts, and enduring love of Nick and Charlie as they face the ultimate test: the daunting leap into adulthood and long-distance.
The trailer comes with the caption setting up the final installment:
“In this final film Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet. First Look Images Reveal a Bittersweet Goodbye
Alongside the trailer, Netflix released a gallery of first-look images, hinting at the emotional rollercoaster to come.
The new stills show our favorite Truham and Higgs students stepping into adulthood. Beyond the glitzy marquee formal wear and neon-lit parties, we see a vibrant, joyous Pride parade marching down a high street, featuring bright purple smoke and a banner reading “WE ARE NOT A PHASE”.
However, it’s not all smiles. The images also tease some serious drama, including a tense hospital waiting room scene with a bloodied Nick Nelson and a deeply concerned Charlie. We also get glimpses of familiar faces, including the teachers we’ve come to love, Mr. Farouk and Mr. Ajayi, alongside the rest of the growing ensemble cast.
