The highly anticipated second season of Rapman’s hit sci-fi superhero series Supacell is gearing up for its return to Netflix, and we’ve got word of two new exciting additions to the cast.
South London’s super-powered saga took Netflix by storm in its debut season, and the hype for its sophomore outing is real. With production on the second season having recently wrapped up, post-production is now in full swing, presumably with the series targeting a 2027 return.
While we’ve already reported that Koby Adom was tapped to direct alongside series creator Rapman, along with a few other casting additions, we can now confirm two more actresses stepping into the world of Supacell for Season 2: Christie Fewry and Rhoda Ofori-Attah.
Here’s a quick breakdown of who they are and who they’ll be playing:
Christie Fewry as “Nia”
Up-and-coming actress Christie Fewry will be joining the cast in the role of Nia. A recent graduate of Rose Bruford College (BA Acting, 2024), Fewry has been making a name for herself on the stage. She just completed a successful, sold-out run as the lead in Romeo Must Die at Theatre Peckham for the Peckham Fringe Festival. Supacell will mark a massive television debut for the rising star.
Rhoda Ofori-Attah as “Claire”
Also joining the cast for Season 2 is Rhoda Ofori-Attah, who will be playing a character named Claire.
If you’re a frequent Netflix binger, Ofori-Attah will be a very familiar face. She is practically a Netflix veteran at this point, having racked up an impressive list of credits on some of the streamer’s biggest UK and global hits. You might recognize her as Detective Monifa Sunday in You Season 4, Miss Griffiths in Top Boy, or from her roles in Sex Education and Shadow & Bone. Outside of Netflix, she’s also slated to appear in the upcoming CBS Studios spinoff NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
It’s currently unclear exactly how Nia and Claire will fit into the wider narrative of Supacell as Michael, Tazer, Sabrina, Andre, and Rodney continue their fight against the secretive Organization, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as more plot details emerge.
