An exciting new thriller series from Colombia is coming to Netflix on September 24, 2025, titled The Guest. The series stars Laura Londoño as Silvia, whose chaotic life is upended further by the unexpected arrival of her friend Sonia, played by Carmen Villalobos. The Guest is an upcoming Colombian Netflix Original thriller series directed by Klitch López and Israel Sánchez and produced by CMO. Clara María Ochoa is the executive and creative producer.

What is the plot of The Guest on Netflix?
Netflix has provided a log line for the series:
“Silvia receives an unexpected visit in her home from Sonia, a friend from the past, just as her marriage to Lorenzo, who is running for Attorney General, is unraveling, and her daughter Isabela struggles with a drug addiction. The arrival of the house guest completely disrupts the family dynamic and further destabilizes Silvia’s life. The bond between Silvia and Sonia runs deep, and Sonia’s intentions are clear: to isolate Lorenzo from the family and destroy him completely.”

Who are the cast members of The Guest?
Laura Londoño, Carmen Villalobos, and Jason Day are the three leads of the series.
Laura Londoño plays Silvia. She has starred in dramas such as La Ley del Corazón, Dudes, The Marked Heart, and The Snitch Cartel: Origins. She also starred in all ten episodes of Netflix’s thriller series The Marked Heart.

Carmen Villalobos plays Sonia. The actress is yet to star in a Netflix series, and is most well known for starring in telenovelas such as El Señor de los Cielos, My Heart Beats for Lola Volcán, The Scent of Passion, and Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso.

Jason Day plays Lorenzo. The actor previously starred in Netflix’s Playing with Fire and Eva Lasting. He is also known for starring in films such as 30 Beats, Mancora, and the TV series 2091.
