Looking for season 5 of Velvet on Netflix, then we’ve got all the information you need to know about a potential fifth season of the popular Spanish series and when it’ll come to Netflix.

For non-Spanish speakers, finding any information about season 5 is particularly hard and there’s a good reason for that. Millions across the world rely on Netflix to get their fix of foreign content and Velvet has been one of the shining examples of how popular a show can be.

The series is the love story between the heir of a selection of fashion stores and a seamstress during the 1950’s. It’s reminiscent of the classic Cinderella story and has gained global attention and is extremely popular on Netflix.

Let’s get this over and done with, the show has been canceled.

After a lot of digging and spending numerous hours translating many interviews and the network’s website, it appears that season 4 was the farewell season for Velvet. The social media accounts thanked its fans for the long support and without saying that season 5 would never happen, they certainly put, at least in the short term, that the series has now concluded.

That’s obviously going to be disappointing news for a lot of fans but the show’s main star can still be found elsewhere on Netflix as Miguel Silvestre is one of the main eight characters in the Netflix Original series, Sense8.

Series Similar to Velvet on Netflix

If it’s international shows you’re looking for, here’s a good few suggestions. For Spanish speakers, Netflix recently released its first series called Cable Girls. Based in Mexico, Ingobernable is also a much loved Spanish-language series. The other suggestion we have to go and watch is Magnificent Century.

We hope that answers the question although may not provide a satisfactory answer. Perhaps Netflix could look at producing a spinoff series in the future, let us know your thoughts below.
