It’s a busy start to the month on Netflix, and there are some excellent new movies and TV shows to watch this weekend.

Godzilla (2014)

Jakub, An astronaut on the solar system’s edge, is accompanied by the unlikeliest stowaways. As he grows concerned with his life back on Earth, Jakub befriends the ancient creature.


Step Brothers (2008)

The Catalina Wine Mixer of 2000s comedy Step Brothers is an unforgettable and hilarious quote fest.

Brennan and Dale are two forty-year-old men who develop a childish sibling rivalry after Brennan’s mom marries Dale’s dad.

In Netflix’s highly anticipated super-powered sequel, Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell return to fight corruption as Connor and Garrett.

An ex-criminal and his former partner in crime are enlisted to help protect a teenager with incredible abilities who is looking for revenge against a corrupt cop who killed her brother.


21 Bridges (2019)

Gone too soon, Chadwick Boseman was a phenomenal actor who made a name for himself in his breakout role as Jackie Robinson in 42 and as T’Challa, aka Black Panther, in the MCU. 21 Bridges was his last feature filmed release in theatres before appearing in Netflix films Da 5 Bloods, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

NYPD detective Andre Davis is hunting two cop killers on the run in Manhattan, leading to the closure of all 21 Manhattan bridges. But when Davis uncovers a massive conspiracy involving the killed cops, he begins to question everything.
