Netflix has tossed a little extra kindling onto the holiday season with three new fireplaces that lean hard into its biggest brands. Instead of the usual crackling logs, your screen can now glow with KPop Demon Hunters flair, Stranger Things atmosphere, and Wednesday’s wonderfully gothic charm, each one styled to capture the mood of its universe while providing some additional warmth this holiday season.
Let’s run through the details of the new fireplaces:
Stranger Things Fireplace
Get transported back to the Byers’ house in season 1 with this fireplace that’s set in the living room, with the alphabet painted on the wall and the lights glowing above the fireplace. The special boots up with the Stranger Things theme song and the all-new season 5 Netflix logo ident.
On the table in the middle, you can see a Dungeons and Dragons game set up, and around the outside, there are a few bits and bobs from the show. Around the 20-minute mark, the lights begin flashing, and the lights begin to spell out: “RUN” before a Demogorgon can be heard, which flips the room to the Upside Down along with the famous chime. It only lasts for a while before flipping back. Right at the end, the warbing noise comes back, and you can see the demogorgon’s shadow on the wall.

The official description reads: “Gather ’round the fireplace in Hawkins, where the flames crackle, the alphabet glows — and the holidays get turned Upside Down.”
Wednesday Fireplace
The special Netflix logo ident for Wednesday and the theme song open, and the fireplace is ignited after Thing runs along the floor and clicks his fingers. The fireplace itself is set in Principal Weems’ office, with the fireplace set in the head of Medusa.
Around the 20-minute mark, lightning and thunder begin outside, smoke starts to fill the room, and the fire eventually turns purple, but only for a short while. At the end, Thing is back to put out the fire.
KPop Demon Hunters: Fireplace
The official description for this reads, “Watch Gwi-Ma’s flames rise and fall as a golden soundtrack burns bright. When darkness meets the light, this is what it sounds like.”
This fireplace features music from the movie, but only the orchestral versions, without Huntrix’s singing until the 23-minute mark, and then you can just hear the roar of the flame. If you do need or want to do some sing-alongs this Christmas, you can find a special compilation of the music or the standalone sing-along version. No special easter eggs from what we could see, beyond the fact that the flame gets more intense during certain parts of specific songs.

We can confirm these are permanent fixtures in the Netflix library, meaning you’ll be able to enjoy these all year round. Each has a runtime of about an hour.
