Indiana Jones – Lucasfilm/Disney
Indiana Jones will be streaming on Netflix US from January 2019 and below, we’ll take a look at which movies from the franchise will be streaming plus take a look at whether countries like the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada will have Indiana Jones available.
Although Lucasfilm is mostly known for its work on Star Wars, its also known for the Indiana Jones franchise. The movie franchise looked all but forgotten until 2008 when a fourth movie finally released. With Disney acquiring all of the assets for Lucasfilm including the Star Wars franchise and Indiana Jones in 2012, another movie was surely on the way.
The fifth movie is now due out in 2021. Harrison Ford is once again scheduled for the role.
Are the Indiana Jones movies on Netflix in the US?
Indiana Jones has never been streaming on Netflix but in 2019, that’ll be changing. Disney is giving the streaming license to all four of the previous movies to Netflix for the first time.
That means that from January 1st, 2019 Netflix in the US will stream these movies:
- Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
We have no idea on how long the movies will be on Netflix for but when movie franchises are added, they’re usually only on Netflix for a matter of months. We’ll update this post once we hear more.
Is Indiana Jones on Netflix in Australia, the UK or Canada?
The four movies can be found on other Netflix regions too.
- Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark can also be found on Netflix in Canada and Australia
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom can be found on Netflix in Canada and Australia
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade can only be found on Canada
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull can only be found on Netflix in Canada
If you’re in the United Kingdom, you’re not currently able to watch any Indiana Jones.

Will the Indiana Jones 5 come to Netflix?
It may be a little too early to talk about whether the fifth movie is scheduled to come to Netflix but we can already give a pretty good estimate. No. You see, Disney will have their own streaming service up and running by this point in the future so it’s most likely that’s where the movie will end up residing.
