Well, Peaches, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news? Netflix has finally given a small taste of Ginny & Georgia season 4, including a brand new synopsis that teases some wild twists. The bad news? We’re going to be waiting until 2027 to see it.
As we’ve been tracking in our comprehensive season 4 preview guide, fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of the Miller family following that massive cliffhanger at the end of season 3.
Although the show was notably absent from the Next on Netflix 2026 guide, we had previously theorized that the fourth season might just manage to squeeze into a late 2026 release window. Given the show’s brisk filming schedule and our recent post-production update, a Q4 2026 drop felt like a real possibility. However, an updated slate on Netflix’s official press site has confirmed that season 4 is slated for 2027.
While it’s definitely a bummer that we won’t be returning to Wellsbury this year, the extra time in the oven should ensure the new season is as chaotic and addictive as ever. Plus, to tide us over, Netflix has officially dropped the season 4 logline—and it sounds like the Millers are in for a seriously bumpy ride.
What is Ginny & Georgia season 4 about?
If you thought Georgia dodging a literal murder charge meant smooth sailing, think again. According to Netflix’s official website, things are about to get even more complicated.
Here is the official synopsis for season 4:
“Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) has dodged a murder charge! So life is finally back to normal. Except that the Millers are broke again. And Georgia’s pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is. And strange things keep happening, hinting that maybe Georgia’s past isn’t willing to stay buried. Ginny (Antonia Gentry) is desperate to break the cycle of chaos, and Georgia is desperate to prove to her kids that she can. And as for Austin (Diesel La Torraca) … well … this season it’s him against the world. The family is at a turning point. But when push comes to shove, will the Millers be able to start fresh? Or will the past pull them back in?”
This fresh synopsis definitely suggests the drama is going to be dialed up a notch (again), which we already knew based on the recently revealed episode titles, but this takes the cake.
Who is returning for Season 4?
Netflix has also reaffirmed the core cast returning for the 2027 outing, ensuring all your Wellsbury favorites will be back on your screens. The cast list includes Brianne Howey (Georgia), Antonia Gentry (Ginny), Felix Mallard (Marcus), Sara Waisglass (Maxine), Diesel La Torraca (Austin), Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Scott Porter (Paul), Raymond Ablack (Joe), Katie Douglas (Abby), Chelsea Clark (Norah), and Nathan Mitchell (Zion). Behind the scenes, series creator Sarah Lampert returns as Executive Producer, alongside Sarah Glinski, who continues her duties as Showrunner for the new season.
