Pack your bags, because we aren’t leaving Colorado anytime soon! Netflix has officially announced that the hit coming-of-age teen drama My Life with the Walter Boys will be returning for a fourth season.
The exciting renewal was confirmed today during the 2026 Netflix Upfronts presentation in New York City. Nestled alongside a flurry of other major television renewals—including Running Point and Big Mistakes—the announcement solidifies the heartfelt drama’s status as an absolute powerhouse in the streamer’s Young Adult lineup.
A Runaway YA Success Story
Based on the wildly popular Wattpad novel by Ali Novak, My Life with the Walter Boys has been a certified global hit ever since it first debuted. Navigating grief, found family, and of course, a heavily debated love triangle, the series has consistently captured the hearts of millions of subscribers and dominated the Netflix Top 10 charts with every new release, which has been on a pretty much annual basis. Season 3, which wrapped up filming late last year, is due out in 2026.
This marks the series second pre-emptive renewal its history.

What’s next for My Life with the Walter Boys?
Because this was a rapid-fire Upfronts announcement geared toward advertisers, Netflix kept the creative details closely guarded. We don’t yet have a confirmed production start date, an episode count, or a projected release window for Season 4.
However, we do know that adapting to life in Silver Falls is a continuous journey. With a sprawling ensemble cast of siblings, parents, and high school friends, creator Melanie Halsall has plenty of runway to continue exploring the lives of the Walter family as they grow up, make mistakes, and figure out who they are.
