Netflix has officially announced that the highly anticipated third season of My Life With The Walter Boys will drop globally on August 6, 2026.
It feels like we’ve been waiting forever to see the fallout of that massive Season 2 cliffhanger, but the wait is almost over. The hit coming-of-age drama, based on the popular Wattpad novel by Ali Novak and produced by Sony Pictures Television and iGeneration Studios (The Kissing Booth trilogy), is gearing up for its most dramatic season yet with 10 brand-new episodes.
Creator, showrunner, and executive producer Melanie Halsall spoke to Netflix to tease what’s to come, noting that Jackie and the Walter boys are growing up: “A lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up.” She also teased that “there’s loads of potential” to “tell stories that are intergenerational” as the show continues to expand its world.
Here is everything we know so far about My Life With The Walter Boys Season 3.
What to expect from My Life With The Walter Boys Season 3
As fans of the show will know, the path of true love never runs smooth, especially in Silver Falls.
The last time we saw the Walters, the central love triangle reached a boiling point. Jackie and Cole finally confessed their love for each other, only for Jackie’s boyfriend — who just so happens to be Cole’s brother, Alex — to overhear the entire thing. However, the explosive fallout from that confession was suddenly put on hold when the Walter family patriarch, George, was rushed to the hospital.
According to Netflix’s official synopsis for Season 3, the Walters will have to reevaluate what’s truly important in the wake of George’s hospitalization:
“Season 3 sees the Walters realize what’s important in the fallout from this—and discover that it’s okay to go after what you want. With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver’s seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected.”
With Cole getting behind the wheel of a race car, Alex pivoting to the rodeo, and a mysterious figure from Jackie’s New York past arriving in town, it’s safe to say the drama is only going to be dialed up a notch.

Has My Life With The Walter Boys been renewed for Season 4?
Yes! If you’re worried about the show ending with Season 3, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
As we covered here on What’s on Netflix earlier this year, Netflix has already handed out an early renewal for Season 4. The streaming service clearly has tremendous faith in the YA hit, locking in a fourth season well ahead of the Season 3 premiere. With Halsall teasing “intergenerational” stories on the horizon, it looks like the creative team is already laying down the groundwork for what will come next.
