There will be 4 NFL games streaming on Netflix in 2026 as the service expands its lineup. Confirmed to be broadcast live on Netflix are the very first NFL game in Melbourne, Australia, between the Sanfrisco 49ers and the LA Rams, Netflix’s first Thanksgiving game between the Green Bay Packers and the LA Rams, and a return of the Christmas Day games as the Green Bay Packers face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, and the Buffalo Bills take on the Denver Broncos.
Netflix has made a monumental effort to expand its live sports output in recent years. Since 2023, which began with the Netflix Cup, the streaming service has streamed events from WWE, Boxing, MMA, Baseball, Formula 1, and the NFL. The future of sports on Netflix looks even more lucrative, as the streamer will also expand into soccer after securing the rights to the 2027 and 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cups, as well as the rights to the CONCACAF Nations League and CONCACAF Gold Cup in Mexico.
However, what has arguably been the most successful of the lot is its output of NFL games, which began on Christmas Day 2024, and the 2026 season will be the biggest yet, as part of Netflix’s and the NFL’s new four-year partnership extension through to the 2029-2030 season, which will see five regular-season games coming to the streaming service, and the NFL Honors.
The first game of the season coming to Netflix on Thursday, September 10, will be the San Francisco 49ers vs the Los Angeles Rams, with a showdown down under at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the very first NFL game ever in Australia. The NFL Melbourne game will kick off at 10:35 AM AEST on Friday, September 11, but for US audiences, the kick-off time is on Thursday at 08:35 PM EDT / 05:35 PM PDT.

The second game of the season will be Netflix’s first-ever Thanksgiving-Eve game on November 25, 2026, as the Green Bay Packers travel to the SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Rams for a huge NFC clash. The Thanksgiving-Eve game will kick off at 08:00 PM EST / 05:00 PM PST.

The third and fourth games of the season will continue Netflix’s Christmas Day tradition, as the Green Bay Packers will travel to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears at 01:00 PM EST / 10 AM PST. Later that day, the Buffalo Bills visit the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High at 04:30 PM EST and 01:30 PM PST.

In addition to the five regular-season games, Netflix will stream the NFL Honors live globally during the same week as the Super Bowl.
