The next season will take us to the nation of Alabasta, the homeland of Princess Vivi, which is on the precipice of a civil war thanks to the schemes of Sir Crocodile, pirate warlord and leader of Baroque Works. The third season will bring a whole new heap of colorful characters and exotic locations in Alabasta; below we’ve detailed all the characters and locations we expect to see in One Piece Season 3.

From deadly Baroque Works officer agents like Mr. 1 and Nico Robin to essential new allies like Portgas D. Ace and Tony Tony Chopper, Season 3 expands the roster with a massive cast of fresh faces alongside returning fan favorites. Every Character We Can Expect to See in One Piece Season 3

First of all, we will start with our beloved crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, led by rookie captain Monkey D. Luffy:

• Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) – Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, and user of the Gum-Gum Fruit.
• Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu) – Luffy’s fiercely loyal first mate and a fearsome master of the three-sword style, driven to become the world’s greatest swordsman.
• Sanji (Taz Skylar) – The Straw Hats’ culinary mastermind and kick-fighting expert, whose strict code of chivalry is only rivaled by his hopeless adoration of beautiful women.
• Nami (Emily Rudd) – The master navigator of the Straw Hats, fiercely loyal to her crew and unapologetically obsessed with treasure.
• Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) – The sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates, a coward with a knack for telling lies, but despite his cowardice, he has a giant heart.
• Nefertari Vivi (Charithra Chandran) – Princess of the Alabasta Kingdom, determined to save her country and family from the schemes of Sir Crocodile.

Baroque Works

The villainous crime syndicate Baroque Works is led by the ruthless Mr. 0, aka Sir Crocodile. With several powerful Devil Fruit users amongst the agents, each will pose a unique challenge to our heroes:

• Mr. 0 aka Sir Crocodile (Joe Manganiello) – The mastermind and leader of Baroque Works and one of the seven Pirate Warlords, pulling the strings behind the brewing Alabasta Civil War. He possesses the Sand-Sand Fruit.
• Miss All Sunday aka Nico Robin (Lera Abova) – The incredibly intelligent right-hand woman of Sir Crocodile, possessing the powers of the Flower-Flower Fruit.

• Mr. 1 aka Daz Bones (Awdo Awdo) – The highest-ranked male officer of Baroque Works, and a former bounty hunter who possesses the power of the Dice-Dice Fruit.
• Miss Doublefinger aka Zala (Daisy Head) – The second-highest-ranking female officer of Baroque Works, who is as deadly as she is beautiful thanks to her possession of the Spike-Spike Fruit.
• Mr. 2 aka Bon Clay (Cole Escola) – Baroque Works’ second-highest-ranking male officer who possesses the power of the Clone-Clone Fruit. His flamboyant nature leaves a long-lasting impression on the Straw Hats.
• Mr. 3 aka Galdino (David Dastmalchian) – The third-highest-ranked male officer of Baroque Works who finds himself in a spot of bother with his boss, Sir Crocodile, after failing to apprehend the Straw Hat Pirates on Little Garden.

• Mr. 4 aka Babe (TBA) – The fourth-highest-ranked male officer of Baroque Works and older brother of the now-deceased Miss Thursday.
• Miss Merry Christmas aka Drophy (Ilse Wepener) – The fourth-highest-ranking female officer of Baroque Works, who possesses the power of the Mole-Mole Fruit.
• Mr. 11 (Alan Foulis) – The lowest-ranked male officer, and former partner of Miss Thursday who is currently held captive by Captain Smoker of the Marines.
• Miss Father’s Day (TBA) – A high-ranking female agent of Baroque Works, and one half of a deadly sniper duo.
• Mr. 7 (TBA) – A high-ranking male agent of Baroque Works, and the other half of a deadly sniper duo with his partner Miss Father’s Day.
• Akumai (TBA) – A mid-ranked agent of the Billions of Baroque Works, and follower of Mr. 2.
• Mr. Mellow (TBA) – A high-ranking member of the Billions, who crosses paths with the Marines keeping Mr. 11 locked up.
• Mr. Love (TBA) – A member of the Billions posing as a member of the Rebel Army of Alabasta.

The Marines

As the Straw Hats continue their journey in the Grand Line and into the heart of Alabasta, they will be pursued by the tenacious Captain Smoker and his first mate Tashigi:

• Captain Smoker (Callum Kerr) – The tenacious marine captain chasing Luffy and the Straw Hats across the line; his Smoke-Smoke Fruit powers make him an incredibly formidable adversary and pirate hunter.

• Tashigi (Julia Rehwald) – The skilled swordsman and first mate of Captain Smoker, who has a score to settle with Zoro.
• Captain Hina (TBA) – A beautiful marine captain who possesses the powers of the Bind-Bind Fruit and, along with her crew, is patrolling the seas around Alabasta.

Pirates

• Portgas D. Ace (Xolo Maridueña) – Luffy’s big brother, a skilled fighter and high-ranking subordinate of Whitebeard, who is on the hunt for Blackbeard, a former ally who murdered one of his crewmates. Ace possesses the incredibly powerful Flame-Flame Fruit.

• Blackbeard (TBA) – A highly dangerous pirate on the run from Ace, who murdered a former commander of the Whitebeard Pirates to gain possession of a powerful Devil Fruit.
• Whitebeard (TBA) – Leader of the Whitebeard Pirates, and one of the four Emperors of the Sea. Despite his age, he is considered the “Strongest Man in the World.”
• Shanks (Peter Gadiot) – One of the four Emperors of the Sea, and Captain of the Red Hair Pirates. Shanks saved Luffy’s life at the cost of his arm, and is idolized by the young pirate.

Editor’s Note: There’s a strong possibility Blackbeard and Whitebeard won’t be introduced until a potential fourth season of One Piece, but we may yet get a glimpse of the two as Ace continues his hunt for Blackbeard.

 Alabasta Kingdom

• Toto (TBA) – A village elder of Yuba, the father of Koza, and the older brother of Goro.
• Koza (TBA) – Princess Vivi’s childhood friend, and leader of the Alabasta Rebel Forces.
• King Cobra (Sendhil Ramamurthy) – The father of Princess Vivi and current monarch of the Alabasta Kingdom.
• Karoo (TBA) – The incredible super spot-billed duck and pet of Princess Vivi.
• Pell (TBA) – Believed to be the strongest warrior of Alabasta, he is one of the head guards of the Alabasta Kingdom. He possesses the powers of the Bird-Bird Fruit, Model: Falcon.
• Chaka (TBA) – The second head guard alongside Pell, he is acting captain of the royal guard while Igaram is away.
• Kappa (TBA) – A young boy and resident of Nanohana. 
• Igaram (Yonda Thomas) – Captain of the Alabasta royal guard, whose fate is unknown after he was left for dead by Mr. 5.

Which locations will we see in One Piece Live-Action Season 3?

The third season is all but guaranteed to spend the entire season in the Alabasta Kingdom, the homeland of Princess Vivi, and the HQ of Baroque Works led by Sir Crocodile.

The island is located in Paradise, the first half of the Grand Line, and ruled by King Cobra, the father of Princess Vivi. By the time the Straw Hats arrive in Alabasta, the nation is on the brink of civil war, which has been orchestrated by Sir Crocodile, who wants to take over the country for his own nefarious and evil schemes.

Alabasta is home to several cities and landmarks, many of which we will get to see in the third season:

• Alubarna – The capital city of Alabasta. Located on a ginormous rock, the city is the home of the Nefertari family. The city’s landmarks include the Alubarna Clock Tower, Central City Square, Medi Assembly Hall, the Tomb of Kings, and the Alabasta Royal Palace.
  • Tomb of Kings – Located to the west of the Alubarna Royal Palace, the Tomb of Kings is the final resting place of the past monarchs of Alabasta, and home to the nation’s biggest secret.
  • Alubarna Clock Tower – An extremely tall clock tower, located close to Central City Square, and the former secret base of the Sand-Sand Clan.
  • Central City Square – Located outside the Alubarna Royal Palace, it is the meeting place of the locals, and will play a key role in the climax of Season 3.

• Nanohana – A port town located in southeast Alabasta. The town is responsible for handling the majority of Alabasta’s imports and exports; in particular, it is famous for its perfume. This is the first stop for the Straw Hat Pirates when they land in Alabasta.
  • Spice Bean – A restaurant frequented by a particular fiery pirate who will cross paths with Luffy and Captain Smoker.

• Yuba – A small oasis town that used to be the headquarters of the Alabastan rebel army. The town serves as an intersection for the towns and villages around western Alabasta, but has suffered drastically from endless devastating sandstorms.

• Erumalu – An abandoned city, once known as the Green City, which has been ravaged by the encroaching sea and extended droughts. With no citizens left to maintain the city, the buildings are crumbling, and the desert is slowly burying what remains under dunes of sand.

• Rainbase – Located in northwest Alabasta, the town is one of the few in the region that is thriving, thanks in part to Rainbase Lake, where the casino Rain Dinners is located, which also serves as a front for Sir Crocodile’s base of operations.
  • Rainbase Lake – An oasis so large it is home to a pack of Bananwanis, the pets of Sir Crocodile. 
  • Rain Dinners – A thriving casino, and the secret base of operations for Sir Crocodile.

• Katorea – Located close to the port city of Nanohana, a small oasis town that the Rebel Army currently calls home.

• Tamarisk – A coastal port town located in the east of Alabasta.

• Sandora Desert – The vast sweeping desert that swallows up the majority of the land in Alabasta.
  • Sandora River – A mighty river that runs through the very heart of Alabasta to the South Coast, hundreds of miles long and 50 kilometers wide.
