The Great British Baking Show will be coming to Netflix several days after new episodes air in the United Kingdom. Here’s the full release schedule for the 2019 season of The Great British Baking Show on Netflix.
The big cooking show from Great Britain is headed to Netflix but in a faster fashion than normal. As Netflix around the world sees with many shows, new episodes will be dropping weekly.
The news came from Netflix US who retweeted a rather unsavory Tweet from what was, evidently a big fan of the show.

Netflix is going to be heaving a big month for new cooking shows in September with season 2 of The Chef Show also scheduled for release.
Once again, we’ll see 13 contestants begin the competition with it being whittled down each week until we get the eventual winner. The host and judge lineup will stay the same this season with Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig hosting and Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith judging.
When do new episodes of The Great British Baking Show come to Netflix?
New episodes will air in the United Kingdom every Tuesday from August 27th with new episodes then arriving on Netflix every Friday. The competition takes place over ten episodes or ten weeks.
Netflixers in the US keeping up the show will want to stay away from the internet between Tuesday and Friday to avoid spoilers.
Don’t forget, beyond just the main series, Netflix in the United States also three special seasons including the Masterclass season, The Beginnings and Holidays too.
Will other regions get The Great British Baking Show?
Although the United Kingdom does carry The Great British Bake Off, it won’t be coming to Netflix, at least anytime soon. When the channel for the show swapped, Netflix stopped picking up the older seasons likely because they’re licensed out by the BBC.
Channel 4 is championing its 4oD service (with the new ad-free paid version) and that’s likely where seasons 8 onwards will stay for the foreseeable future.
No other regions currently carry The Great British Baking Show nor are any planned to be the recipient either.
