Netflix has set a November 2019 release date for the next season of the docu-series on your favorite childhood toys. The Toys That Made Us is scheduled to return to Netflix on November 15th, 2019.

The docu-series that comes from Brian Volk-Weiss first debuted on Netflix back in 2017 and has since seen another season and a spin-off show produced (which we’ll talk about shortly). The series sees the creator rewind the clocks and takes you back to your childhood and covers the big toys that dominated the shop shelves.

So far, across the eight released episodes currently streaming on Netflix, they’ve covered Lego, Star Wars, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Barbie, Star Trek, and Hello Kitty.

This upcoming season will see the show cover four more toy ranges from the past few decades. These include:

  • Power Rangers
  • My Little Pony
  • Wrestling
  • TMNT

The news comes via Twitter where the shows’ creator talks about the upcoming season by letting Walter Jones who played the original Black Power Ranger announcing the release date of November 15th, 2019.

The series leads the way for a spin-off series that’s due out on Netflix by the end of the year. The new series will, like the series covered in this article, rewind the clock and take us back to older movies and why they’re so good.

The movies set to be covered in season 1 of that show includes Dirty Dancing, Home Alone, Ghostbusters and Die Hard.

The third season’s release date has been added to our release schedule calendar and you can find more of what’s scheduled to come to Netflix in November 2019 in our Originals preview.
