A new week of Netflix releases awaits, with much to look forward to. Here’s a breakdown of all the new movies and series, featuring all the titles set to arrive over the next seven days.

For what else is set to arrive throughout the remainder of January 2024, check out our guide. We updated it today with even more titles set to arrive, including the SVOD premiere of the Paul Dano and Seth Rogen movie Dumb Money. Want to look even further ahead? Check out our preliminary list of what’s coming in February 2024.

On the removals front this week, the Israeli series When Heroes Fly departs over the next week, and we highly recommend watching it before it’s gone forever. Elsewhere, the sci-fi movie The Colony (also known as Tides) leaves on Friday, and all the Spy Kids movies (excluding Armageddon) depart next weekend.

Now, let’s get into some highlights:

Best New Movies and Series Coming This Week

This Is Us (All Six Seasons)

Coming to Netflix: January 8th – Monday

Picture: 20th Television

The second Disney-owned licensed series set to arrive on Netflix between 2024 and 2025 is scheduled to premiere on Monday. It offers over 100 episodes of great ensemble drama for binge-watching.

Starring Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, and Chrissy Metz, among others, the show follows the Pearsons, consisting of three siblings and their parents, all of whom face trials and tribulations in both the past and present.

The series joins The Wonder Years, which was released on Netflix on January 1st. Next up will be My Wife & Kids, which is due out in February.

After Everything: The Final Chapter

Coming to Netflix: Thursday – January 11th

Continuing the tradition of picking up every After, the final (?) installment of the YA romance film series drops on Netflix following its theatrical debut last September.

Once again directed by Castille Landon, the movie sees the return of Hero Fiennes Tiffin as Hardin Scott and Josephine Langford as Tessa Young.

Here’s what you can expect:

“Besieged by writer’s block and the crushing breakup with Tessa, Hardin travels to Portugal in search of a woman he wronged in the past – and to find himself. Hoping to win back Tessa, he realizes he needs to change his ways before he can make the ultimate commitment.”

Lift (2024)

Coming to Netflix: Friday – January 12th

Netflix’s first major movie of 2024 is the Kevin Hart-led action heist comedy Lift. He’ll star alongside the likes of Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, and Billy Magnussen, who are all recruited to pull off a heist 40,000 feet in the air.

No reviews out for this one yet, but from what we’ve seen, it looks like a fan romp thus far.
