Welcome to the back quarter of 2025! That’s right, September 2025 is here, and Netflix has kicked off the month strong with 12 TV series added and 75 movies added. Here’s a look at everything new on Netflix for Labor Day, as well as what’s set to round out the week on Netflix in the US.

What to Watch on Netflix This Week
Wednesday (Season 2 – Volume 2)
Coming to Netflix: Wednesday (duh!)
It’s been nearly a month since the first part was released, and it has been pulling in decent viewership numbers (albeit down from season 1), with the next four episodes finally due out this week. As expected, Netflix has otherwise kept its Netflix Original schedule relatively clear for the arrival.
Netflix has been slowly releasing news about the second part over the past week or so. In recent weeks, it’s been revealed that Gwendoline Christie reprises her role as fan-favorite Principal Weems, and just this morning, Netflix released a first look at Lady Gaga in her role as Rosaline Rotwood (see embedded below).
A Thousand Tomorrows (Season 1)
Added to Netflix: Monday
I’m going to rattle off a few show names: Virgin River, Ransom Canyon, Sullivan’s Crossing, Heartland. If any of those are your cup of tea, then Netflix has just added 6 episodes of the PureFlix Original series A Thousand Tomorrows, which adapts the works of Karen Kingsbury.
Featuring the talents of Colin Ford, Rose Reid, Cole Sibus, Anne Leighton, Kate Easton, KC Clyde, and CK Bolado, the official synopsis reads, “From #1 New York Times best-selling author Karen Kingsbury, only God knows how many tomorrows we have left. In the dangerous and competitive rodeo world, how will Cody and Ali make the most of their time together?”
The Great British Baking Show (Collection 13)
Coming to Netflix: Friday
Netflix is once again set to be the weekly streaming home to one of the best British exports ever: The Great British Baking Show (also known as The Great British Bake-Off in the UK). Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are back to judge alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding, with plenty more amateur bakers competing for a grand prize.
Just a word of warning: as with all previous seasons, episodes air much earlier in the United Kingdom, so as a result, we’d recommend blocking or staying away from any articles about the series until that episode drops on Friday to avoid disappointment and spoilers!
