All Marvel movies will be departing Netflix over the next year or so as Disney looks to stock its upcoming Disney+ service. Here’s when all the Marvel movies are scheduled to leave Netflix in the United States and we’ll take a brief look at when Marvel movies in other Netflix regions will leave too.

As you’re probably well versed at this point, Disney is releasing their streaming service in the United States come November 2019. Its goal is to be the exclusive place to watch all of Disney’s library including its subsidiaries such as Marvel Studios, Star Wars properties, Pixar and more.

The Marvel lineup at the launch of Disney+ isn’t particularly stellar with only a handful of titles scheduled. Disney will be adding to this over time but one of the reasons why the launch lineup is a little lackluster is because Netflix still retains some of the rights to Disney movies. In fact, Netflix will carry most of the Marvel movies from 2016 onwards at some point again in the future.

Here’s when the remaining Marvel movies on Netflix in the US will leave the service for Disney+:

Thor: Ragnarok

Arrived on Netflix: June 6th, 2018
Leaving Netflix: December 6th, 2018

Undoubtedly the best Thor movie came to Netflix in summer 2018 and is the next Marvel movie scheduled to leave Netflix.

It directly leads into Infinity War with Thor and Hulk battling each other in a rogue gladiator-like world meanwhile Asgard is under attack from Thor’s sister.

Black Panther

First Arrived on Netflix: September 4th, 2018
Leaving Netflix: March 4th, 2020

One of the most groundbreaking titles in the MCU so far has been Black Panther. With an all-star cast and fantastic world-building, this remains one of the better origin stories in the MCU.

Black Panther was first seen in Civil War (which left Netflix last year) and returned for the next title in the MCU.

Avengers: Infinity War

First Arrived on Netflix: December 25th, 2018
Leaving Netflix: June 25th, 2020

The Avengers battle against Thanos had been raging in the background for over a decade but in 2018, it came to a head with the first of two movies.

The epic movie starred all of the characters introduced over the past 10 for their first showdown with the mighty Thanos.

The movie came to Netflix last Christmas and will be leaving in the middle of next summer.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

First Arrived on Netflix: January 29th, 2019
Leaving Netflix: July 29th, 2020

The last Marvel movie to come to Netflix from the Disney contract was Ant-Man and the Wasp. Although regarded as one of the lesser-rated titles as of late, it’s still worth a watch on Netflix given it won’t be on Disney+ until the middle of next year.

That concludes Marvel on Netflix unless Disney+ goes wrong which by current reports looks highly unlikely.

Netflix UK currently gets second window content and the content listed above will arrive on Netflix UK over the next year or so. Beyond that, we don’t know what sort of deal is in place.

Netflix Canada is no longer receiving Disney movies and most will expire with the dates list above.

Of course, there are a few other Marvel movies still to leave but we don’t have concrete dates left on those as of yet.
