Boys Over Flowers creator Yoko Kamio is the creator of Netflix’s upcoming anime, which she co-wrote alongside Saki Fujii. Prolific animators WIT Studio is the production company behind the anime, which is voiced by a stellar cast.

Lili Ichijoin is a Japanese exchange student who has travelled to England, where she has enrolled at Saint Thomas Art Academy, a highly prestigious school. However, her parents have set her a tough goal: reach the top of her class, or she must return to Japan. Her desire to reach the top intensifies after she meets Kit Church, an aristocratic student whose reputation as a painter precedes him, though he is emotionally detached. However, when Lili enters his life, her sincerity and resilience begin to change him.
