Over four years since it was first announced, we have a fresh update on Netflix’s adaptation of Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolitar, which is to begin filming in New Jersey and New York in July 2026 for a four-month shoot. Details are limited, and a cast has yet to be announced, but we expect even more announcements soon.
Myron Bolitar is an upcoming Netflix Original crime drama series and an adaptation of Harlan Coben’s series of novels. The Lincoln Lawyer’s David E. Kelley is confirmed to be teaming up with Coben to write the series. Kyle Long (Suits) is also listed as a writer on the series.
The series was first announced in 2022 as part of Netflix’s refreshed output deal with the author and was the first confirmed Harlan Coben series to be set in the US. However, in the years that followed, there was radio silence about the project’s future; meanwhile, several other incredibly popular adaptations from Coben’s bibliography have been big hits on Netflix, and even more are on the way.
Greg Yaitanes (Presumed Innocent) and Sam Hargrave (Extraction) have been listed as the series’s directors. Matthew Tinker, Harlan Coben, Rick Muirragui, David E. Kelley, and Kyle Long are listed as producers, with David E. Kelley Productions and Final Twist Productions listed as the studios behind the series.
