Thailand has seen some excellent releases on Netflix in recent years, and The Debt Collector, starring Nadech Kugimiya, hopes to impress audiences when it releases soon. Here’s everything we know about The Debt Collector on Netflix.
The Debt Collector is an upcoming Thai Netflix Original crime-thriller film directed and co-written by Surapong Ploensang (Cracked). Daew Onusa Donsawai (The Debut) and Pun Homchuen (The Debut) co-wrote the screenplay alongside Ploensang. The film is produced by Nalina Chayasombat (Shutter), with Jungka Studio as the production studio.
When is The Debt Collector coming to Netflix?
At the time of writing, Netflix has yet to announce a release date for The Debt Collector.
What is the plot of The Debt Collector?
Netflix has provided a synopsis for the film:
“Haunted by guilt after his time behind bars, a former underground debt collector races against a terminal illness, returning to his old world to avenge injustices against illegal loan victims and seek redemption from his past.”
Who are the cast members of The Debt Collector?
The three confirmed leads for the film are Nadech Kugimiya, Daou Pittaya Saechua, and Tob Chaiwat Thongsang.
Nadech Kugimiya is known for starring in Thai dramas such as Doctor Detective, The Crown Princess, and Captive Heart. As for movies, the actor has starred in all three Death Whisperer films, which are available on Netflix. The actor has yet to star in a Netflix original, and will make his debut in The Debt Collector.

Daou Pittaya Saechua is most well known for his career as a singer and was previously a member of the boy group LAZ1. He has starred in Thai dramas such as The Wicked Game, Century of Love, and Love in Translation.
Tob Chaiwat Thongsang previously starred in Netflix’s raunchy comedy series Doctor Climax as Thongthian, and it remains his only role in a Netflix project to date. The actor has played lead roles in dramas such as Guardian and the films Iron Ladies Roar, and Jenny, I Love You.
