Netflix has just pulled back the curtain on the highly anticipated second season of Guy Ritchie’s smash-hit series, The Gentlemen, dropping a brand new teaser trailer, a batch of stunning first-look images, and the news we’ve all been waiting for.
Mark your calendars: The Gentlemen Season 2 premieres globally on Netflix on September 3, 2026.
While we’ve got lots more on the production of the series in our full everything we know article, here’s everything that just dropped a couple of months ahead of its debut in September.
What is Season 2 of The Gentlemen about?
If you thought running a weed empire on a British estate was complicated, wait until you take it international.
According to the official logline, Season 2 picks up one year after Eddie Horniman (Theo James) and Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) cemented their unholy alliance to run Bobby Glass’s (Ray Winstone) criminal empire. The business is going overseas, and they are driving hard to expand the enterprise.
However, there’s a massive snag. The decisions Bobby is making are becoming increasingly unsound, leaving Eddie and Susie in a precarious position. Do they stage a coup against the big boss and take action into their own hands, or do they hold steady and risk losing the entire empire? As Netflix teasingly warns us: “Unfettered ambition never ends well…”
And speaking of going overseas, the new first-look images give us a gorgeous glimpse of Lake Maggiore, the world-renowned, ultra-luxurious destination bridging Italy and Switzerland, where a chunk of the new season is set. Swap the rainy British country estates for lakeside villas—though we suspect the body count will be just as high.
Who is returning to the cast?
You can’t have The Gentlemen without its leading duo. Theo James (The White Lotus) returns as Eddie Horniman alongside Kaya Scodelario (Crawl, Senna) as the sharp, calculated Susie Glass.
Also confirmed to reprise their roles in the new images are:
- Ray Winstone as the unpredictable patriarch Bobby Glass
- Vinnie Jones as the loyal and beloved groundskeeper Geoff Seacombe
- Joely Richardson as Lady Sabrina
- Daniel Ings as Eddie’s chaotic brother, Freddy
- Giancarlo Esposito as the refined but lethal Stanley Johnston
- Jasmine Blackborow as Charly
- Michael Vu as Jimmy
- Harry Goodwins as Jack
- Ruby Sear as Gabrielle
- Pearce Quigley as Gospel John
Who are the new faces joining Season 2?
Guy Ritchie is known for putting together some of the most eclectic and brilliant ensembles in the business, and Season 2’s new cast list is absolutely stacked.
Joining the criminal underworld this time around are Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey, I Came By), Benjamin Clementine (Dune), Benedetta Porcaroli (The Leopard), Michele Morrone (The Housemaid), Sergio Castellitto (Conclave), Amra Mallassi (Hijack), and Tyler Conti (Safe).
In true Ritchie fashion, we’re also getting some incredible wildcard casting, with British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr. and TV host/entrepreneur Maya Jama stepping into the fray.
Are you ready to head back to the estate? The Gentlemen Season 2 drops all 8 episodes on September 3, 2026, only on Netflix. Keep it locked right here for more deep dives as we get closer to release day!
