There are 31 new movies and TV shows added to Netflix UK this week, including Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, the fourth installment of Ryan Murphy’s serial-killer anthology. Also arriving this week are The Scandal, Netflix’s highly anticipated steamy romance K-drama, and Best of the Best, starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story
The fourth installment of Ryan Murphy’s serial killer anthology, this time it follows the tale of Lizzie Borden (played by Ella Beatty), the woman accused of murdering her mother and father in 1892 in Massachusetts.
“This installment of the anthology series follows Lizzie Borden. Borden lived in Massachusetts in the late 1800s. In 1892, she was accused of murdering both her father and her stepmother with an axe at their shared home. Borden was eventually acquitted of the crimes, but the brutal nature of the murders attracted nationwide attention and contributed to Borden’s place in popular culture.”
The Scandal
Shaping up to be this year’s hottest K-drama, The Scandal is primed to deliver an irresistible, sweeping romance. This fresh take on the acclaimed 2003 film brings together an all-star cast: Son Ye-jin, Ji Chang-wook, and Nana, who quickly find themselves entangled in a dangerous and intoxicating web of seduction.

Best of the Best
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s first breakout role was on Netflix, when she played Devi Vishwakumar in Mindy Kaling’s comedy series. This time she plays the role of Maya, who is joined by her best friend Anjali (played by Priyanka Kedia) as they team up to take on the hyper-competitive world of collegiate Bollywood dance.
