Welcome to your comprehensive guide to everything leaving Netflix in the United States throughout September 2026. As always, a new month brings a mountain of new content, but we also have to say goodbye to some heavy hitters as licensing agreements come to an end.

If you’re a fan of boxing, you’ve got your work cut out for you before September 1st. In a massive blow to the movie library, the entire Rocky franchise (all six original films) alongside the Creed trilogy will be bowing out on the first of the month. They aren’t the only major cinematic departures, either. You’ll also need to find time to squeeze in classics like The Big Lebowski, The Breakfast Club, Schindler’s List, and the Zombieland double feature before they make their exit.

Over on the TV side, it’s a rough month for binge-watchers. Mid-month will see the departure of the beloved country music drama Nashville (Seasons 1-6) as well as the blood-soaked action series Spartacus (Seasons 1-4). We’re also tracking the loss of a Netflix Original this month: Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Crashing is departing on September 1st. As we frequently cover, many early “Netflix Originals” were actually internationally licensed exclusives, and those long-term deals are now beginning to expire.

Finally, keep an eye on Sony Pictures’ Kraven the Hunter, which will exit on September 14th as it concludes its standard 18-month Pay-1 window on the service.

As a reminder, Netflix licenses most of its content for fixed periods. When those contracts are up, the titles depart. We’ll be keeping this list constantly updated throughout August and September as we learn of new removals, so keep this page bookmarked.
