It was another huge night of awards for Netflix, this time in South Korea for the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards. Out of the 24 awards nominated, Netflix won 5, including huge wins in the actress categories for The Art of Sarah and the Blue Dragon’s Choice for actress Kim Go Eun for her incredible, tear-jerking performance in You and Everything Else. It was a dominant year for Netflix actresses at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards. The Art of Sarah swept the top acting categories, with Shin Hae Sun winning Best Actress and Park Bo Kyung taking Best Supporting Actress, while Jeon So Young earned Best New Actress for If Wishes Could Kill. The ultimate highlight, however, was Kim Go Eun receiving the Grand Prize (Blue Dragon’s Choice Award) for her incredible, tear-jerking performance in the sorrowful K-drama You and Everything Else.

Just like Netflix subscribers from around the world, the judges also fell in love with the reality-dating series Better Late Than Single, winning the award for Best Entertainment Program, beating fellow Netflix shows Jae Seok’s B&B Rules and the second season of Culinary Class Wars. While not winning any awards, Netflix’s beloved entertainment series, Jae Seok’s B&B Rules! was recognized with 5 nominations.
