The mobile port of WWE 2K, titled WWE 2K: Netflix Edition, is nearly here, as the game enters its “soft-launch” phase to iron out any bugs ahead of its full rollout on Netflix. We’ve got first looks and new details on what’s to come.
Netflix first confirmed its growing partnership with WWE and the addition of WWE 2K to its games library in January 2025, during the Next on Netflix 2025 showcase. The announcement came alongside updates on its upcoming slate of movies, series, and games. At the time, only a short teaser video was released, including an appearance by CM Punk announcing the new collaboration.
According to a new Google Play Store listing and confirmation from Sensor Tower, the game has now soft-launched with version 0.836 in the Philippines and Singapore. This early release provides an opportunity for Netflix and its developers to iron out bugs and test features in a stress-testing environment ahead of a global rollout.

In addition to the description, the Google Play Store page also features several first-look images from the upcoming title, showcasing stars such as Roman Reigns and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, among others.
No official release date has been announced yet, though Netflix continues to list a broad Fall 2025 release window. Based on previous soft launches for Netflix Games titles, it typically takes anywhere from a few weeks to several months for a full global rollout to all subscribers.

WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition will join Netflix’s game library that sits at around 100 titles across both mobile and cloud (or sometimes both). Other upcoming games include Football Manager 26 Mobile on November 4th, as well as kids’ games such as PAW Patrol Academy, Toca Boca Hair Salon 4, LEGO DUPLO World, and tie-ins for the new Dr. Seuss shows on Netflix, all confirmed for release at some point. Titles in testing include Netflix Puzzled and Spirit Crossing.
