When Will More Episodes of ‘One Piece’ Elbaf Arc be on Netflix?

After 13 episodes, the first cour of the ‘One Piece: Elbaf Arc’ concluded on July 5, 2026. It has already been confirmed that there will be a maximum of 26 episodes per year, and the second cour (or Part 2) will begin on Netflix on July 18, 2026!

The release of the Elbaf Arc marked a monumental shift in how TOEI Animation released One Piece episodes, having previously released episodes weekly for 27 years and amassing over 1150 episodes in that time. While there are still many episodes of One Piece to come, the annual episode count will decrease significantly to a maximum of 26 episodes per year, which are split into two cours/parts.

For the uninitiated, an anime with a 2-cour season will typically have 24 to 26 episodes. Once the first cour is over, there may be a brief or extended break before the series returns for its remaining episodes. In the instance of One Piece, this wait is incredibly short, with the second cour scheduled to begin in Japan on July 12, 2026.

There is a six-day delay between the Japanese broadcast and Netflix release, which means fans watching the series exclusively on Netflix will have to wait until July 18, 2026, for new episodes. With no break, this means the Part 2 finale will be released on Netflix on October 10, 2026.

How much of the Elbaf Arc has the anime adapted so far?

So far, the anime episodes of the Elbaf Arc have adapted 13 chapters of the One Piece manga, specifically chapters 1126-1138. At the time of publishing, there are 62 manga chapters set during the Elbaf Arc, with more released on a near-weekly basis. This means the anime has already adapted 1/5 of the published chapters.

TOEI Animation has confirmed that the anime will be adapted on a 1:1 ratio with the manga. With 13 more episodes to conclude the first season of the Elbaf Arc, the anime will reach chapter 1153 of the manga. 

When will new episodes of One Piece be released on Netflix after Part 2?

With a maximum of 26 episodes per year, there will be no further One Piece episodes in 2026 once Part 2 ends. 

It has yet to be announced when One Piece will return post-2026, but we would expect more episodes to be released sometime in Spring 2027.
