The Hunger Game movies are some of the best franchise movies in the past decade and were the kindling for Jennifer’s Lawrence’s now glistening career. Are the Hunger Game movies streaming on Netflix? The answer is yes but as always with Netflix, it varies by region. Here’s your guide to streaming The Hunger Games on Netflix.

Based on the book series of the same name, the movies ultimately did a solid job at bringing it to life. The first movie is particularly held in high regard out of the four installments that released between 2012 and 2015. Alongside Jennifer Lawrence starred Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson, Stanley Tucci, Sandra Ellis Lafferty and many more. The movies pit different districts in an authoritarian world against each other in a set of an annual game which sees participants fight to the death.

Now let’s take a look at where each of the four movies is streaming on Netflix.

Why aren’t the Hunger Games on Netflix in the USA?

At one point, they were. Netflix tends to have broad contracts with big owners of content and one of its big contracts it lost back in 2015 was with the owner of The Hunger Games. Netflixers may remember that they used to get the new movies drop slightly before the newer movie began showing at cinemas. That contract Epix won’t be returning as Epix now boasts their own platform although the chances are you aren’t currently using it.

In the United States at the moment, there’s currently nowhere to stream the movies as part of a subscription. Hulu does hold some smaller clips for the movies though.
