Disney’s Bill Nye, The Science Guy is due to leave Netflix in May 2019 in the United States in a move likely leading the way for the classic Disney docuseries to make its way over to Disney+.
The classic Disney channel show saw Bill, the popular scientist/entertainer teach millions around the world the wonders of science, something he’s done ever since. Three seasons in total were produced between 1993 and 1998.
Five seasons were produced although Netflix carries most of the episodes under what it labels “collection 1”.
Netflix first got the Disney series added back all the way in May 2015. That means by the time it’ll leave, you’ll have had four years to stream the series.
The removal date for Bill Nye: The Science Guy on Netflix is May 15th, 2019.

Where is Bill Nye: The Science Guy streaming next?
Given Disney+ is just around the corner, it’d make the most sense that it’ll end up there. That means you won’t be able to stream the show again until November 2019 in the United States when Disney+ drops.
Bill has two other headlines titles on Netflix include his Netflix Original series called Bill Nye Saves the World and his 2017 movie, Bill Nye: Science Guy. Neither of these is currently scheduled to leave Netflix at the moment. His Original shows last season dropped in May 2018 but no word on future seasons as of yet.
On the flipside, don’t expect Disney to be enlisting Bill for their new streaming service. In 2017, Bill Nye actually sued Disney for withholding profits from his popular series.
