We’re over the mid-June hump and welcome back to your weekly roundup of everything new on Netflix US! An interesting week, which was mostly made up of big Netflix Originals with big swings from a number of countries. Over the past seven days, 37 new titles (19 movies and 18 series) have landed on the service. Below, we’ll pick out our favorite new additions and break down what’s been dominating the Netflix Top 10 charts in the United States.
If you want to look ahead, it’s going to be a busy end to June, and we’re also tracking all the July releases here.
Before we dive into the Top 10 data to see what subscribers have actually been watching, let’s take a look at our three streaming highlights for the week:
Best New Movies and Shows on Netflix This Week
Voicemails for Isabelle (2026)
Type: Movie
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Starring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson, this heartwarming and clever new Netflix Original rom-com is the perfect weekend watch. It follows Jill, a young woman who copes with the tragic loss of her sister by leaving her lengthy, deeply personal voicemails. Unbeknownst to her, the phone number has been reassigned to Wes, an elusive real estate agent in Austin who begins to fall in love with the hilariously confessional voice on the other end of the line.
In our review, we concluded:
“Voicemails for Isabelle is many things—a family tragedy, a romantic comedy, a coming-of-age story, a little overthought, a tad too long, a tone-shifting rollercoaster—but it only succeeds because Zoey Deutch makes you want to see this through. From a solid foundation of the bonds of sisterhood, strong performances guide you through some script misfires and comedy tropes to get you dancing to Robyn by the film’s end.”
I Will Find You (Limited Series)
Type: TV Series
Genre: Mystery, Thriller
Harlan Coben is back with his latest twist-filled Netflix adaptation! Starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower, this gripping limited series follows David Burroughs, a father wrongfully serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son. When a surprise visitor presents photographic evidence that his son might actually still be alive, David orchestrates a daring prison escape to uncover the truth and clear his name.
Flowers in the Attic (2014)
Type: Movie
Genre: Drama, Thriller | Runtime: 1h 30m
If you are a fan of dark, twisted family dramas, this 2014 Lifetime adaptation of V.C. Andrews’ gothic novel, which picked up some positive reviews at the time, although be warned, Lifetime movies are definitely not to everyone’s taste as my inbox regularly attests.
Starring Heather Graham, Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn, and a young Kiernan Shipka (Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), this chilling psychological thriller follows four siblings who are locked away in a sprawling mansion’s attic by their cruel grandmother and unstable mother following the sudden death of their father. It’s campy, heavily melodramatic, and undeniably gripping—perfect for a rainy weekend watch. As expected, it is already pulling in major numbers, hitting #6 on the movie charts.
We’re Back! With Brian Williams
Type: TV Series
Genre: Podcast

Netflix has had a few cracks at celebrity interview programs by now. David Letterman is arguably the most successful in the space, while Famous Last Words is easily my favorite; however, they both exist outside of the podcast category that Netflix has been aggressively expanding into this year. In that space, its two biggest swings thus far have been The Pete Davidson Show—a slickly produced talk show with some good guests, although much of your enjoyment will entirely depend on whether you actually like Davidson himself. Then there’s Netflix’s in-house Skip Intro with Krista Smith. Unfortunately, the latter, much like Netflix’s TUDUM platform, comes off as too much like highly polished PR award babble to be all that enjoyable.
Hoping to fit somewhere else on that spectrum is Brian Williams. Having called NBC his home for most of his career, he is now bringing long-form interviews to his new Netflix podcast, kicking things off strong with Tom Hanks. I found it a breeze to listen to in the background with good conversation and questions, even though I wish they had chosen a different location to film it, as the pub table setting was a little void of personality.
