Fox’s 9-1-1 is a rating high for the network and there’s no doubt as to why it’s a great series. If you’re looking to catch up with 9-1-1, unfortunately, Netflix isn’t going to be your answer. We’ll discuss below plus take a look elsewhere around the world.

The series comes from Fox and explores multiple different roles in the emergency services from different perspectives. The series is created by Brad Falchuk, Tim Minear and Ryan Murphy and stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, and Oliver Stark.

Season 2 of 9-1-1 just started up again on Fox and is off to a series rating high after premiering after the Super Bowl. The first season also had a ridiculously large audience, too, making it a must-watch for all, especially those fans of cop procedurals.

Let’s take a look at whether the series is on or will be coming to Netflix anytime soon.

Why Netflix in the United States won’t be streaming 9-1-1

Sadly, the United States lost its chances of getting 9-1-1 on streaming last year when Fox and Netflix cut ties. The result was the near complete removal of all Fox and FX shows from the library and it doesn’t look as though they’re coming back, especially now that Disney has purchased Fox.

Instead, the show will remain exclusive on Hulu and other Fox streaming services.

Even those with a Netflix DVD subscription are out of luck too with season 1 not releasing on a box set as of yet.

What about other Netflix regions

Sadly, other Netflix regions have yet to pick up the show either and given we’re now into season 2, that will likely continue being the case meaning that 9-1-1 won’t be available at all for those with a Netflix subscription.

For those in the United Kingdom, you’ll only be able to watch 9-1-1 with a NowTV subscription as the show is available exclusively on Sky Witness.

Are you disappointed that 9-1-1 won’t be coming or isn’t on Netflix? Are you watching the second season live? Let us know in the comments.
