In the Tall Grass is an upcoming Netflix Original horror thriller based on the novella of the same name by authors Stephen King and Joe Hill. The novella was a collaboration between the two horror authors, the second of which after Throttle in 2009. In the Tall Grass will become the third of Stephen King’s work that has been adapted into an Original. Vincenzo Natali is the director of In the Tall Grass to which eagle-eyed fans may recognize him as the director of cult classic The Cube.

When Cal and his sister Becky hear a young boy’s cry for help, they run into the vast field of grass in an attempt to help him. As they venture further and further into the field it’s not long before they discover that there’s no way out.

When and where did the production of In the Tall Grass take place?
The majority of filming took place in Ontario, Canada.
Perth South, Ontario, was a location used for a dilapidated Church scene. Further filming took place outside of a bowling alley in Elmira, Ontario. The rest of the filming took place around Toronto.
Principal photography began on the 9th of August 2018, as to when filming concluded is not currently known. But the post-production of the film ended on August 1st, 2019 and has now been listed as completed.
