Welcome to a slightly abbreviated top-10 report this week, as I’m currently on the ground in Annecy covering all the animation announcements. We’re sticking to just the biggest stories and updates, but keep an eye on our page for a bumper edition next week.

1. I Will Find You in Week 1

Harlan Coben has been creating hits for Netflix for many years, and I Will Find You is somehow the first-ever adaptation to come out of the United States, and it’s going to be a big hit for Netflix. As Netflix wrote in its roundup, it serves as the biggest premiere for 2026 on the English series side, but how does it stack up against limited series from previous years?

Let’s take a look:

How does this premiere stack up against other Harlan Coben series? That much is unclear, given that most of those shows debut across different days of the week and most of the British releases in the past few years have been New Year’s Day releases, meaning they get extra eyeballs thanks to the holiday period.

Title Release Date Opening Week Views
Fool Me Once Monday 1 January 2024 37,100,000
Missing You Wednesday 1 January 2025 21,700,000
Just One Look Wednesday 5 March 2025 4,500,000
Caught Wednesday 26 March 2025 8,200,000
Run Away Thursday 1 January 2026 12,700,000

2. Voicemails for Isabelle Week 1

Let’s first stack it up against the 2026 roster of English-language movies, and from that, we can see it’s pretty much slap-bam in the middle of the pack, picking up similar views to People We Meet on Vacation in its first three days.

Stacked up against fellow romantic comedies from the past few years (even though Voicemails for Isabelle definitely veers more in the serious drama category), here’s how it stacks:

A pretty standard and, dare I say, average start for the movie, then. It’s getting good word of mouth so we’ll see how it evolves in the weeks to come.

3. Oasis from Netflix Spain

Netflix’s big new swing last week hoping to land somewhere between Elite and The White Lotus is Oasis, which comes from frequent collaborators with Netflix: Bambú Producciones. It’s seemingly a slow start for the series with 2.1M views in its opening 3 days.

Given how trigger-happy Netflix Spain has been with cancellations over the past couple of years, there’s no guarantee this one will be back, so fingers and toes crossed.

4. Husbands in Action from South Korea

Another big live-action film from South Korea dropped this week, and it’s cleared a couple of movies in terms of views, but still nowhere near the height of The Great Flood from the back half of last year.

5. The Witness in Week 3

Let’s check in with The Witness, which saw a significant 72% viewing hours drop in week 3. While it managed to stay within touching distance of some of Netflix’s biggest hits from the UK, it’s now quite some way away.

6. Final Check-In on The Four Seasons

Given the season 3 renewal, this one isn’t that important, but it’s still interesting to see how The Four Seasons has evolved, likely now spending its final week in the top 10s this week. It’s ended week 4 at 15.9M views, which is roughly 55% down on the 32.9M views season 1 was at that same point in time.

7. Swapped vs. War Machine

One race we’ve been watching closely for a few weeks now is whether the animated Skydance movie Swapped will enter the all-time top 10s, as War Machine has. It’s around 13 weeks until the 91-day mark, and at its current rate of decay, we predict it will reach the top 10s, with estimates for its final numbers ranging from 136M to 147M views, depending on how it evolves in the final weeks. It’s undoubtedly catching up, though!

8. Sweet Magnolias in Week 2

Sweet Magnolias season 5 got a 20% rise in viewing hours this past week, but will it be enough to secure something of a conclusive renewal? It’s super unclear. It’s tracking at about the same decay rate as previous seasons, but viewership is still down 47% from season 2 and 25% from season 4.
