Netflix has had a good track record with the release of their Original teen dramas. With series such as Sex Education and movies like The Perfect Date, Netflix will be hoping Trinkets hits the same ground running when it releases in June. We have all the information you need to know on the upcoming teen drama, including the Netflix release date, plot, cast, and trailer.

Trinkets is a Netflix Original teen-drama series created by Amy Andelson, Emily Meyer, and Kirsten Smith. Four directors have been used across the series, three of which are female. We expect this series to be massively popular amongst many of the younger audiences, this is certainly helped by some of the episodes are directed by Sherwin Shilati who’s previous work has been on the popular teen-drama Riverdale.


What is the plot of Trinkets?

After being caught shoplifting Elodie is sent to Shoplifters Anonymous to help curb her obsession with stealing. When Elodie meets two other girls at her support group, a strong bond forms between the trio, united over their love of shoplifting. As the trio challenge each other to see who can steal the most, Elodie allows her obsession to deepen further, risking her future for a few trinkets.

When did production take place?

Filming began on the 16th of January and would have taken place over the course of a couple of months.

Where was filming held?

The production company behind the series is Awesomeness TV who are based in L.os Angeles. As there are no details as of yet for where filming took place it’s likely the locations used were throughout California.
