Haunted – Picture: Netflix

Netflix’s reality series that spooked millions last year is coming back for season 2 for Halloween 2019. Here’s what we know so far about the new season and a recap for those who have not yet checked out the series.

For those unfamiliar with Haunted, the reality series first debuted onto Netflix last year. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea and is a mix between a reality series you’d see on the likes of A&E with stories being told but Netflix goes one step beyond and tries to recreate the people’s experiences.

Six episodes of the series arrived on Netflix globally on October 19th, 2018.

The series also attracted controversy in its authenticity and the fact they’re turning often traumatic experiences into entertainment for us.

What can we expect from season 2 of Haunted? Well, more of the same. Once again, we’re expecting to hear first-hand accounts of the paranormal in ordinary situations.

Season 2 of Haunted is due to release on October 11th, 2019.

We’ve also seen one of the producers on the show throughout the year reach out to people to hopefully get them involved in the show.

Netflix has not yet renewed for a third season but the form they have which solicits your submissions of your stories. Should this season be a success we’d definitely expect another season here in time for Halloween 2020.

That’s all we know for now about Haunted season 2 but we’ll be updating this post as we get closer to the release date.

Netflix has plenty of other Halloween treats lined up for you this year including two major horror movies such as Eli and In the Tall Grass. It’s also got plenty of kids Halloween content too.

Are you looking forward to Haunted returning to Netflix for a second season? Let us know in the comments.
