Another JTBC k-drama, Beyond the Bar, is coming to Netflix weekly in August 2025. The drama stars Squid Game’s Lee Jin Wook and also features Jung Chae Yon, Lee Hak Jo, and Jeon Hye Bin. Here’s everything we know about the Beyond the Bar on Netflix.
Beyond the Bar is an upcoming internationally licensed South Korean law drama series directed by Kim Jae Hong and scheduled to air on the South Korean cable network JTBC.
When will Beyond the Bar be released on Netflix?
We have confirmation that Beyond the Bar will be released weekly on Netflix starting August 2, 2025. The series will consist of 12 episodes, with two episodes released every week on Saturday and Sunday.
The finale is scheduled for release on September 7, 2025.
Each episode will have an approximate run time of 60 minutes.

“Yun Seok Un is a partner lawyer and leader of the litigation team at Yullim Law Firm. He is a cool-headed risk-taker who pressures his opponents with creative logic. He is admired by his colleagues for his solid skills as a lawyer, but he is not easy to approach because of his cold attitude and complete lack of small talk. Kang Hyo Min is a rookie lawyer and works with Yun Seok Un. She is socially awkward, but she is righteous and confident. She clashes with Yun Seok Un over everything, but grows into a real lawyer. “

Who are the cast members of Beyond the Bar?
There are four confirmed leads for the K-Drama: Lee Jin Wook, Jung Chae Yeon, Lee Hak Joo, and Jeon Hye Bin.
Lee Jin Wook as Yun Seok Un. The actor recently starred in the second and third seasons of Squid Game as Park Gyeong-seok, aka No. 246. He also starred in Netflix dramas such as Sweet Home and Doona.

Jung Chae Yeon as Kang Hyo Min. The actress previously starred in Netflix K-dramas The King’s Affection and both seasons of My First First Love. She’s also starred in K-dramas such as The Golden Spoon and Family by Choice.

Lee Hak Joo as Lee Jin U. The actor was recently one of the lead actors in the Netflix K-drama The Potato Lab. For Netflix, he has starred in a small handful of projects, which include a supporting role in My Name and Memories of the Alhambra, and guest roles in Be Melodramatic and Mr. Sunshine.

Jeon Hye Bin as Heo Min Jeong. The actress has yet to star in a Netflix series and will be making her debut in Beyond the Bar. She has played lead roles in K-dramas such as Revolutionary Sisters, Oh My Baby, and Liver or Die.
