Home for Christmas is a Norwegian Netflix Original from Quicksand director Per-Olav Sørensen. Also taking the director’s seat, Sørensen was assisted by Anna Gutto, who acted as the co-director. Screenplay writing was handled by Miriam Larsen, Mattis Herman Nyquist, Julie Skaufel, Fredrik Høyer, and Per-Olav Sørensen. The idea for the series had come from Amir Shaheen and Kristian Andersen. The Oslo Company was the production studio behind the Christmas Original.

30-year-old Johanne has to face the growing pressure from her family to find a boyfriend. With only 24 days to find a boyfriend, it’s a race against time for Johanne before she goes home for Christmas.
