Tracy Morgan’s The Last O.G. has quickly become one of the best comedy series on Netflix. With seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix in the US, you may be wondering if The Last O.G. is coming back for season 3 and when it’ll be on Netflix. Here’s what we know.
TBS is a network channel of Warner Media mostly known for its two cartoon sitcoms American Dad! and Final Space. Among its current live-action comedy slate is Miracle Workers and The Last O.G.
Starring Tracy Morgan and created by John Carcieri and Jordan Peele it’s about a convict coming out of prison to find the world he left when he went into prison has changed.
In season 2, which dropped on Netflix on December 4th, we saw Tray open a new business.
Season 3 was given a quick renewal by TBS again with the announcement being made official on May 15th, 2019.
With a quick renewal for season 3, we’re expecting the series to retain its regular timeslot on TBS in late March 2020. Once it finishes its 10 episode run in June, we then expect it to arrive on Netflix in the US in November or December 2020.
The only caveat here is that The Last O.G. could theoretically get pulled away from Netflix in favor of HBO Max. Warner Media is going all-in on the service pulling The West Wing and Friends from Netflix over the next year. It’s not something we’re currently expecting but it is something to be aware of.
Will other Netflix regions get The Last O.G.?
Currently, Netflix in the US is the only region streaming the show. It’s unlikely Netflix will license the series elsewhere as the chances are, they would have done so already.
