Isekai Cheat Magician is a Japanese anime fantasy isekai series based on the light novel series of the same name by author Takeru Uchida. The light novel began in 2013 and a manga adaptation began its serialization in Monthly Shõnen Ace magazine in December 2016.
On their way to school, students and childhood friends Taichi Nishimura and Rin Azuma are transported to a mysterious magical world. While trying to figure out their predicament, they are attacked by a monster. Thankfully a group of adventurers saves their lives. Deciding to become adventurers themselves, they enroll at the nearby town. While they enroll Yaichi and Rin discover they possess incredibly powerful magic and physical abilities. Their adventure begins by becoming the most powerful ‘cheat magicians’.
Why season 1 of Isekai Cheat Magician isn’t on Netflix
The reason why Isekai Cheat Magician isn’t on Netflix is thanks to licensing.
While Netflix has been able to pick up more and more anime titles, the streaming service doesn’t have the same output as Crunchyroll and FUNimation. Netflix also doesn’t simulcast anime episodes.
Episodes of Isekai Cheat Magician are available to stream on Crunchyroll. At the time writing the season is still airing with the finale to air on the 25th of September, 2019.
An English dub isn’t available yet. English dub episodes will likely be available on FUNimation or Crunchyroll upon release.
