With all the Marvel titles being released on TV by Netflix & Disney, FOX upped their game by releasing the popular X-men show Legion. With the success of Legion Fox pushed for another mutant tv show called The Gifted. The question is are seasons 1 & 2 of The Gifted currently streaming on Netflix? Let’s find out.

The Gifted is an American television series created by Matt Nix at FOX. Based on the Marvel Comic’s X-Men the series takes place in X-Men film universe albeit in a separate timeline. The show is centered around a family of mutants who are on the run from government forces after discovering that the children of the family have mutant powers. In this timeline, the X-Men have seemingly disappeared so there is no X-Men to protect any struggling mutants from persecution.

Season 2 is currently in the middle of its run and aired on September 25th.

Is The Gifted on Netflix US?

Unfortunately for fans in the United States, The Gifted won’t be coming to Netflix anytime soon. Prior to the middle of 2017, Netflix and FOX had a contract in place which enabled subscribers to stream a large amount of FOX content. Once this contract came to an end a very large portion of content was removed from the Netflix library and very few shows remained. Unless FOX and Netflix strike a new deal The Gifted won’t be coming to Netflix.

Instead, you’ll have to rely on Hulu or FOX’s own applications to watch past and current episodes of The Gifted.

Other Regions

For fans in the United Kingdom, you can catch The Gifted on FOX UK. For streaming, you can catch up on the show on Sky Go or Now TV.

In Australia, you’ll have to access Foxtel to watch the series. Canadian subscribers won’t be able to stream either but the show is available on CTV.
