Goblin Slayer is a fantasy-adventure anime series based on the manga of the same name by author Kumo Kagyu. One of the most popular animes in recent years, Goblin Slayer has a very dark spin on the dungeon crawling genre. It’s thanks to the dark elements of Goblin Slayer which has made the franchise so popular. Upon the anime release, the first episode which is still etched into the minds of many leaped into pop culture and of course, the memes that came thereafter were hilarious.
On her first quest, a young priestess barely escapes being killed by a gang of Goblins. With her party dead, her fate looks as grim as her former party. When all hope is lost the mysterious Goblin Slayer arrives on saves the young girl. Deciding he’s the best adventurer to learn from, the priestess partners with the Goblin Slayer as he continues his quest to slay all the Goblins of the land.
Is Goblin Slayer on Netflix US?
Sadly Goblin Slayer is not available to stream on Netflix US. Once again you can thank FUNimation for why Netflix isn’t streaming Goblin Slayer. The popular adventure-anime series was simulcast on FUNimation and Crunchyroll.
If you’re looking for an English dub of Goblin Slayer then you will need a subscription to FUNimation or Hulu. The two streaming services currently are in a partnership which Hulu is able to stream content from the FUNimation library. For those only interested in a Japanese dub can still watch Goblin Slayer on FUNimation, Hulu, and Crunchyroll.
