The reboot of the popular 80s crime drama has been a surprising hit for CBS. Even without Tom Selleck, millions of fans old and new are flocking to their TV screens to watch the new rendition. Is season 1 of Magnum P.I on Netflix? Let’s find out.
Magnum P.I. is a CBS crime-drama based on the series of the same name. The Magnum P.I reboot was discussed for a long time before CBS finally pulled the trigger. Living in the era of reboots, it comes as no surprise one of the most popular crime dramas of all time would make a return. The new show was definitely a controversial decision for many fans that grew up watching the original series from the 1980s. Sadly Tom Selleck and his mighty mustache have not returned, not even for a cameo role (as of yet).

Is Magnum P.I. streaming on Netflix US?
For now of least, Magnum P.I. is not available to stream on Netflix. The first season of the Magnum P.I reboot doesn’t conclude until the 25th of March. It’s hard to say if the crime series will arrive on Netflix considering one of the most popular CBS dramas (Hawaii Five-0) was recently removed from the Netflix library.
If CBS continues to push its own streaming service CBS All Access, then the likelihood of Magnum P.I. arriving is slim at best.
Fan Reaction
Fans of the original series haven’t taken too kindly to the reboot. But if we are to go by the viewing figures the first season is doing incredibly well. The first season of Magnum P.I. has been able to maintain an audience of over 5 Million, with the highest hitting 8.76 Million for the 12th episode. Thanks to these brilliant viewing figures, CBS has officially renewed the show for a second season already.
Are other regions streaming Magnum P.I. on Netflix?
Nope. No other region across the world currently has access to stream Magnum P.I. on Netflix. In the United Kingdom, you can watch Magnum P.I. on Sky One and thus on Now TV and Sky Go.
