Jane the Virgin season 4 will be coming to Netflix in most regions but will vary depending on where you live. In this article, we’ll run through the release schedule for Jane the Virgin on Netflix for season 4 including the weekly episodes and the United States release date too.
Never seen Jane the Virgin before? Let’s bring you up to speed. The CW show is about a young girl who while receiving a routine checkup, was accidentally inseminated artificially and with a baby on the way, she has to accept her new reality. Throughout the series, you see Jane grow into her new found position. It’s won multiple awards, most notably a golden globe.
Season 4 is just around the corner as part of The CW’s fall lineup but has been reduced in episodes once again to 17 episodes.
When do new episodes of Jane the Virgin come to Netflix?
This applies to the UK and other regions which carry Jane the Virgin exclusively
In the United Kingdom, for the first time, Jane the Virgin will be exclusive to Netflix although it’ll follow the same release pattern that it did last year. Netflix in many regions will be carrying the show weekly.
New episodes will air on Friday nights in America then drop on Netflix the following Saturday morning (~8 AM GMT). The show will likely take a break just before Christmas but we’ll continue updating the release table below as we learn more information.
|Episode Number||The CW Release||Netflix Release Date|
|Episode 01||October 13th, 2017||October 14th, 2017|
|Episode 02||October 20th, 2017||October 21st|
|Episode 03||October 27th, 2017||October 28th, 2017|

When will Jane the Virgin be on Netflix in the United States?
Netflix in the US won’t be getting weekly episodes unfortunately but there is good news. As of 2016, new seasons of The CW shows comes to Netflix a lot faster than what they used to. Traditionally, you’d have to wait roughly a year after the show first airing before it came to Netflix. Thankfully, this new contract rectifies that so that the show comes to Netflix just a week after the series finale. Given the 17 episodes, we’re expecting the show to roughly be available on Netflix in May 2018. Should this change, we’ll update this page accordingly.
