Praise Satan! Or is it Santa? Children of the Church of night rejoice as Sabrina returns this holiday season! Releasing on the 14th of December is the holiday special for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Here’s everything we know so far!
Having released at the end of October, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has already become a massively popular addition to the Netflix library. Many fans binge-watched the first season upon its release and are already asking for the release of season 2. To sate that appetite Netflix has included a special Christmas episode for the teenage witch to coincide with the release of all their holiday specials.
What is the plot of the episode?
The episode will revolve around the Spellmans conducting a seance during the Winter Solstice to try and contact Sabrina’s mother. Like any seance, not all the guests that arrive are welcome.
It can be noted that Sabrina’s hair is the same color of silver as it was at the end of season 1 and Ambrose’s partner Luke is with the Spellman family. Therefore this episode definitely takes place after the events of season 1 and will not be a prequel to the events of season 1.

The Cast for the Episode
The cast list hasn’t been confirmed just yet. So besides the Spellman family and Luke (and Salem!), we don’t know just yet who is set to appear.
If the plot for the episode is a series of Christmas stories narrated by the Spellmans, it would be fun if they enlisted some fun cameo appearances for them.

Is there a trailer?
Netflix just recently released a trailer for the Christmas special!
Will this affect the story of season 2?
As it is a holiday special it is unlikely this episode will affect the show on the grand scale of things. It will be the first time postseason 1 that we will see Sabrina with her new powers, so it’ll be a great opportunity for her to show off her power.
