When will Season 4 of Peaky Blinders be on Netflix?
Season 4 of Peaky Blinder is happening and is coming to Netflix although no firm dates are available as of yet. Below, we’ll cover what to expect for season 4 plus when we predict season 4 will be available on each of the Netflix regions that carry it.
Just to get you up to speed in case you’ve never seen Peaky Blinders, the series recounts loosely the events in 1920’s Birmingham following the gang that is known as the Peaky Blinders. It stars Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins, 28 Days Later) as the gang leader and is on the rise and inevitable fall of the gang.
It airs in the United Kingdom first on BBC. The first series aired in September 2013, the second came the following year in October 2014 and the third season came two years later. In case you weren’t already aware, the series is renewed for both season 4 and 5.
Let’s take a look at when season 4 will air in some of the main regions Peaky Blinders is available in.
Season 4 Netflix US Release Date
In the US, the show is actually sold as a Netflix Original which means it comes exclusively to the platform although most of the soundtrack is changed from the original version. Let’s take a look at when the previous seasons came to Netflix US. Season 1 was made available on Netflix US a year after it first aired in September 2014, season 2 came just a couple of months later after the second season finished. Likewise, season 3 was available a month after it finished in July 2016.
Given the above, we suspect we’ll only have to wait a month after the show finishes on BBC UK. At the moment, the series is scheduled for fall 2017 so our best guess is that Peaky Blinders season 4 will be on Netflix US in November/December 2017.
Netflix UK carries the show although you’re probably aware that only two seasons are currently available. This is because the BBC typically renews the show shortly before or thereafter the new series airs. That means we suspect we’ll get season 3 on Netflix UK in September 2017 and season 4 added shortly before season 5 starts.
