Of course, you may have heard Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist aren’t returning for new solo series. In fact, it’s entirely likely 2019 will mark the end for new Marvel shows on Netflix.

Animated Series (Adults)

The Adult-Animated shows on Netflix have been nothing short of excellent. Whether it’s coming of age Big Mouth or the Family sitcom F is for Family, all have been wildly entertaining. It will come as no surprise to many that nearly all the Animated shows to have aired this year have all been renewed. Like 2018, we can expect 2019 to be another excellent year.

Big Mouth (Season 3)

Expected Release Date: Fall 2019

Big Mouth is one of best adult comedies out there at the moment, and we dare anyone to argue against us. It may be pushing it for a 2019 release date but depending on the amount of episodes season 2 will have determines when we can expect the next season release date. The show has been very popular with young children, so many will be excited to see The Dragon Prince return sooner rather than later.

Legend Quest

Expected Release Date: Early 2019

The Spanish series was the very first animated title to be produced in Latin America and first released worldwide back in February of 2017. Its safe to assume that season 2 of Legend Quest must be close to its release and that’s why we believe that the next season will air in early 2019.

The Last Kids on Earth

Expected Release Date: Sometime in 2019

The popular children’s books of the same name are being adapted into an animated series for Netflix. There are 4 books in the current series but it is unknown how many more are set to be published. That being said if the series is to take each book and have episodic arcs we could see anywhere between 12 to 16 episodes for the first season! Still unconfirmed on the release date but the brand new series will definitely be coming in 2019!

Twelve Forever

Expected Release Date: Sometime in 2019

The original pilot for Twelve Forever made its debut back in 2015 on Cartoon Network.
